It’s been so long since I found the time to write here, and the last few months of our year have tumbled by as impossibly quickly as ever – drawing to a close now in the much-appreciated stillness of these few days between Christmas and New Year.
The autumn months crept into winter, the pony thriving on much more time inside and a steady night time stable routine; hacks confined once more to the golden light of weekend mornings, but looked forward to and lovely.
We have had a busy and lovely December, full of lights and cosiness and times with family and friends – celebrating our daughter’s 1st birthday as well as Christmastime in a blur of good times with the loveliest people.
It’s been wonderful to have some quiet time just at home too, especially in the last few days – wrapping up to head out for walks nearby; relaxing with books and box sets, the little one her lovely new toys; and Jasper & Jet enjoying cuddles and company in the evenings.
Enjoying a quiet day today, looking back on a lovely 2018 and forward to the year to come too. Wishing all of you all the very very best for 2019. Xxx
